Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Kirkwood at the first-ever Kirkwood Festival of Trees!
This festive, two-week event will feature beautifully decorated trees and wreaths created by Kirkwood-area businesses, organizations, and community partners. Each display will be designed to showcase the personality, creativity, and holiday spirit of the participating business — with some trees featuring gift cards, products, themed decorations, and other fun surprises.
The decorated trees and wreaths will be on display in the lobby of the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, creating a festive holiday experience for visitors and families throughout the season.
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win their favorite tree or wreath. Proceeds from the Kirkwood Festival of Trees will benefit the Kirkwood Arts Foundation and KirkCare.
Event Dates
The Kirkwood Festival of Trees will kick off on Saturday, November 21, 2026, in coordination with the Downtown Kirkwood Holiday Walk.
The displays will remain available for viewing throughout the festival, with the raffle drawing taking place on Friday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m.
Kickoff Celebration with Santa
Join us on Saturday, November 21 at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center as we officially kick off the Kirkwood Festival of Trees.
Visitors can enjoy the holiday displays, purchase raffle tickets, and celebrate the season with festive treats, including hot cocoa and coffee. Santa will make a special appearance from 1:00–2:00 p.m.
Viewing Hours
Festival displays may be viewed during the following times:
Saturday, November 21: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Monday–Friday: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
One hour before and during KPAC performances
Saturday, November 28: 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
How the Raffle Works
Each decorated tree and wreath will be labeled with the participating business or organization and the name of the display. Guests can purchase raffle tickets online for $5 each and select which tree or wreath they would like to enter to win. The raffle drawing will take place on Friday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. The winner of each tree and wreath gets to take home the tree on December 4th and display it for hte Holidays in their own home.

A panel of judges will review the displays and select winners in several festive categories, including:

After the raffle winners for each tree and wreath are drawn, the tree or wreath that received the most raffle entries will be recognized as the Community Favorite.
Interested in Participating?
Kirkwood-area businesses and organizations are invited to participate by decorating a tree or wreath for display.Trees may be up to 4 feet wide and any height. Wreaths may be up to 3 feet wide. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.More information about business participation and sponsorship opportunities will be available soon.
