Facade Improvement Program
The Facade Improvement Program provides up to $5,000 in matching grant funds for exterior improvements to Downtown Kirkwood properties. Business and property owners are encouraged to apply.

Advertising & Marketing
Downtown Kirkwood members benefit from a coordinated advertising program that promotes the Special Business District and its businesses. By pooling resources, we subsidize the cost of group advertising to make it more affordable and impactful.

Gift Certificate Program
Take part in the Downtown Kirkwood Gift Certificate Program—at no cost to your business. By signing up, you allow customers who want to support Kirkwood to shop and dine with you using Downtown Kirkwood gift certificates.
Gift Certificates are sold in $5, $10, $20, and $25 increments at the Downtown Kirkwood office and online. They are widely promoted and make it easy for the community to keep dollars local.

Employee Parking Permits
Downtown Kirkwood administers the City of Kirkwood’s Downtown Employee Parking Program, with permits valid for the calendar year. Permits may be purchased at the Downtown Kirkwood office and are valid in nine designated city lots located throughout the district.
Important: Each November, look for an email with instructions on obtaining your parking permits for the upcoming year. The annual lottery system is used to allocate permits fairly among businesses. If you are not on our email list, register below.
