Kirkwood’s Holiday Walk & Santa's Arrival on the Train
Beginning at 8:40 a.m., holiday shopping, free entertainment, and refreshments will make this day a festive way to begin your celebration of the holiday season.
Santa Claus will arrive in downtown Kirkwood at 8:40 a.m. After his grand entrance, Santa will pose for photos inside the train station from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Be sure to bring your camera to snap a photo for your Christmas cards!
Adults will enjoy shopping for holiday gifts offered by Downtown Kirkwood’s unique specialty stores—many of which will feature sales and special offers. The Lucille Rapp Tumblers and Dancers will perform at the train station at 1:00.
Holiday Walk Schedule of Activities 2025
8:40 am: Santa Claus arrives in Downtown Kirkwood by train
9 am - 12 pm: Santa poses for pictures with children, Bring your camera for photos
9 am - 12 pm: Mrs. Claus stories and songs in Ken Connor Park
10 am: Holiday Shopping begins, Downtown Kirkwood stores open
11 am - 1 pm: Caroling St. Louis carol all around Downtown Kirkwood
12 pm: Lucille Rapp Dancers perform at Station Plaza
1 pm: Crescendo Youth Choir carol all around Downtown Kirkwood
1 pm: Youth-in-Action—cookies for donations at Ken Connor Park (Cookies donated by Pioneer Bakery)
All Day: Shop and Eat at your favorite DTK businesses!
