Downtown Kirkwood’s annual Halloween Walk will be held Thursday, October 27 with trick-or-treating for children from 5-7 p.m. at participating businesses. Trick-or-treat locations are located throughout Downtown Kirkwood and participants will give free candy to children while supplies last.
Kirkwood City Hall, 139 S. Kirkwood Rd., will hand out candy prior the walk from 4-5 p.m.
The streets in the heart of Downtown Kirkwood will be closed to increase safety for all participants. The two blocks of Jefferson and Argonne, between N. Clay and N. Taylor Avenues, as well as Kirkwood Road between Monroe Avenue and Adams Avenue, will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 3:00 p.m., on October 27. These areas will be open to pedestrians.
