“We are pleased that these businesses have selected locations in downtown Kirkwood,” said Bud Pennington, Chairperson of the Downtown Kirkwood Special Business District Advisory Commission, downtown Kirkwood property owner and partner in Pennington Shea, LC. Pennington added that the ongoing efforts of the Special Business District and the City of Kirkwood to promote and support the Special Business District’s businesses have significantly contributed to making downtown Kirkwood a desirable place to live, shop, dine and locate a business.
Adam Tilford, Founder and CEO of Mission Taco Joint, said that his organization “has wanted to have a Mission Taco Joint location in Kirkwood for some time and have been waiting for the right opportunity”. Mission Taco Joint will occupy the former Kirkwood Station Brewery location.
“Meanwhile, the new Performing Arts Center construction is moving along nicely, and we are looking forward to its opening and the additional activities the center will bring to Downtown Kirkwood,” Poe added.
