Fall Festival of Local Flavor

Saturday, October 9

The Downtown Kirkwood Fall Festival of Local Flavor will be held Saturday, October 9. The event is a celebration of all things homegrown, locally owned and environmentally friendly. Visitors can spend the day shopping the sales and specials at Downtown Kirkwood’s numerous locally owned shops. Shoppers will find unique and one-of-a-kind items for their home and garden and fall fashion ideas too! After working up an appetite at the festival, visitors can enjoy downtown Kirkwood’s great selection of restaurants. Visitors presenting $25 or more in sales receipts from festival shopping and dining will receive a complimentary tote bag, while supplies last, at the Kirkwood Living Green booth that is located at the historic Kirkwood Train Station.

A local art show and live music will also be part of the festivities. Numerous artists will sell their work at Kirkwood Station Plaza, 200 S. Kirkwood Rd. Live music will also be featured. Also taking place during the Festival is the Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Market at the Kirkwood Farmers’ Market, 150 E. Argonne. At the Children’s Craft Area, children can participate in a mask making activity and decorate a pumpkin from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
