Popular Kirkwood Jewelry Store Plans Significant Expansion

Igal Alon, owner of Mavrik Jewelry in Kirkwood, has announced an upcoming expansion that will more than double the size of the Kirkwood showroom. When completed, the new space will offer a larger private area for custom design consultations, as well as new display space for Mavrik's line of fashion jewelry by international designers like Michal Negrin. The larger store will have a walk-up window for repairs and watch service, and customers will also be able to relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments while they shop.

Alon said, "Our business has grown rapidly as people have become more educated about jewelry in general, and diamonds in particular. This success would be welcome at any time, of course, but it's particularly rewarding in a challenging economy. It tells us that our customers genuinely appreciate our combination of very personal service, superior inventory, and unmatched value for their dollar."

The Michal Negrin line, launched in Tel Aviv in 1988, is one of Mavrik's most popular lines, featuring sterling silver and unique stones. Recently available only through the Mavrik website, it will be showcased in the newly expanded store by popular demand. In addition to Michal Negrin, Mavrik is the only St. Louis distributor for Swiss-made Justex timepieces for men and women.

Commenting on the Kirkwood location, Alon said, "As our business has grown, we've understood that we would need more room for our customers and expanding staff. We're pleased to acquire the adjacent space necessary and remain in our familiar Kirkwood location."

Mavrik Jewelry is located at 200 South Kirkwood Road, just south of the Kirkwood train station.
